Tools: Maya, Zbrush

T REX - 3D MODEL

This is an organic model I created in Zbrush with additional help from Maya. This is my 1st model in Zbrush. Love the tool. I have always wanted to learn  Zbrush as I am well versed in Maya. Zbrush is awesome for organic modeling and I start my journey off with a favorite creature of mine, Tyrannosaurus Rex AKA T Rex.


Body and most of mesh created in Zbrush starting from a Polysphere. Smaller elements like tongue, claws & teeth were created in Maya and imported into Zbrush.

FINAL FANTASY XV - 3D HEAD MODEL

I am a big fan of RPGs and recently am very excited about Final Fantasy XV by Square Enix. So to somewhat alleviate my excitement or maybe raise it, as I am more excited than ever, I attempted to make Noctis, the main character's head. Getting enough resources to make a good head & especially Final Fantasy styled CG hair is tough. I had to dig, dig, read a bunch of stuff I reached somewhere with it. Made early 2015

TEST 3D ANIMATION - DIALOGUE

This is a test animation I made in 3 days for an animation/cinematic test.
It's not refined as the requirement was to have a basic set up.

For the test I was given a script and my job was to set up the scene based on the script provided.

I created the environment and set up the camera.

THE METROPOLITAN MUSEUM OF ART PRESENTS "THE RETURN"

I was working as an assistant 3D modeler / animator for the MET. The project is collaboration between Foxy films and state of art motion capture studio at NYU Poly. It is built on the Unreal Engine 4 using motion capture system & traditional 3D animation techniques. The project is to recreate and showcase Tullio Lombardo's famous 15th century Adam sculpture which is being exhibited at the MET after it was broken through an accident. Ran through July 11 2015 through August 2 2015.

FINAL FANTASY VII - BUSTER SWORD - 3D MODEL

A little side project I did where I built an iconic weapon in the gaming industry: the Buster Sword from Square Enix's (Square Soft at the time) Final Fantasy VII game. I built a low poly model, uv mapped it, textured it and bump mapped it. Took me about two weeks to finish because I was working as well. I made this out of love and also because I hope to work in the gaming industry creating such 3D assets myself. Made December 2016/January 2017

"OMNIA" - UNITY 3D GAME

This is a game project I worked in a group of 2 people, Robert Schwartzberg and I, where we created a 3D video game called Omnia build using the Unity3D game engine. My job consisted of character design, 2D graphics, 3D modeling, texturing, rigging and animating and helping with the game design process. The game is inspired from Japanese RPGs like the famed Final Fantasy series, especially Final Fantasy VII. This game is about the main character, Skyler, going on a journey, meeting friends on the way, to save the Empire from an attack from the neighboring kingdom. It is an open world adventure where you explore and collect interesting items and fight bad guys to save the empire. But beware not everything is as clear as it may seem. Brainstormed & started late 2014. Stopped around June 2014. But then work began again on September 2015.

PERSON USING PHONE/APP - 3D ANIMATION

An app showcase I was and am working on. A playblast of one angle I worked on. I worked on the animation and the world assets/textures. The rig was from Creative Crash.

REVELATIONS STUDIOS- 3D PROP MODELS

Worked as a 3D modeler for the studio's first game Beyond Equilibrium. My job was to create 3D models of props and different objects that will be used by the characters in the game. I created low poly and high poly 3D models that were then passed on to the texturer.

"JUST ENJOY THE GAME" - 3D ANIMATION

A 3D Animation video I made as a final for my class at NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering. It's about just enjoying the game and not being a bully. Created on Autodesk Maya and edited with Sony Vegas Pro. Made early 2014.

"REALITY?" - 3D ANIMATION

A short animated video I made upon getting an idea while working on a video game project. This animation is about the question of what's really real?

"DESERT TUNE UP" - 3D ANIMATION
